Kim Kardashian wants Taylor Swift to “move on” from their years-old feud after the singer dropped an apparent diss track about the Skims founder on her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
An insider told People on Tuesday that Kardashian, 43, is “over” the drama and thinks it is time for the 14-time Grammy winner to put their beef to rest.
Kardashian “doesn’t get why [Swift] keeps harping on it,” the source told the outlet. “It’s been literally years.”
Swift surprised fans on Friday by releasing not one but two albums — the latter of which included a song seemingly about her bad blood with the “Kardashians” star.
Kim Kardashian is reportedly ready to move on from her feud with Taylor Swift.
An insider told People that Kardashian “doesn’t get why [Swift] keeps harping on it.”
On “thank you aIMee,” Swift sings about dealing with a bully, who ultimately only made her stronger. “All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel,” she sings. “Screamed ‘F… you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin’ / But I can’t forget the way you made me heal.”
Fans also quickly noticed that the three capitalized letters in the title spell out Kardashian’s first name.
Swift reignited the pair’s feud Friday after releasing an apparent diss track about the Skims mogul.
The capital letters in “thank you aIMee” notably spell out K-I-M.
The pair’s feud began in 2016 after Kanye West called Swift a “bitch” in his song “Famous.”
While Kardashian has yet to comment on the new song, fans believe she subtly dissed Swift on Instagram. After Swift spoke out about the lyrics, Kardashian defended her then-husband by releasing an edited phone call that made it look like he got her approval.
Reps for the Skkn founder did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Although Kardashian reportedly wants to leave her drama with Swift in the past, she seemingly leaned into their feud on Tuesday by sharing a photo alongside Swift’s former BFF, Karlie Kloss.
The shapewear mogul posted an old selfie with Kloss to her Instagram Story while wishing her pal Derek Blasberg a happy birthday.
Although Kardashian captioned the photo with a kiss emoji, the not-so-subtle move sent Swifties into a frenzy online.
Kim Kardashian added some fuel to her ongoing feud with Taylor Swift.
The “Kardashians” star posted a photo alongside Swift’s ex-BFF Karlie Kloss on Monday.
“Kim Kardashian posting Karlie Kloss right now is truly f… crazy oh my god,” – one fan wrote.
Another added: “not kim posting a pic with karlie today that was taken TWO YEARS ago??? i smell drama.”
“the ‘thank you aIMee’ get together since when are they friends,” a third questioned.
The pointed choice came less than a week after Swift seemingly dissed Kardashian in her new song “thank you aIMee.”
The record, featured on “The Tortured Poets Department,” quickly went viral after fans noticed the capitalized letters spell out K-I-M.
Swift was best friends with Kloss from 2013 until 2017.
Neither Swift nor Kloss ever revealed why they drifted apart.
In the song, Swift sings about being bullied by someone named Aimee, who ultimately made her stronger in the end.
After its release on Friday, Kardashian lost over 100,000 followers — and counting.
The now-famous rivalry between the two started in 2016 when Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West hinted in his song “Famous” that he “might still have sex” with Swift and “made that bitch famous.”
Swift later clarified that she didn’t agree with West referring to her as a “bitch.” In response, Kardashian released a phone conversation in which the singer of “Cruel Summer” appeared to give the rapper permission to do so.
However, the full phone call was later leaked in 2020, proving the original recording had been edited as Swift originally said.
