Now, a new report says Hailey is upset over the flirty comment Justin left on Madison Beer’s Instagram post wishing her a happy birthday, furthering fueling the rumors of marital discord.

Justin Had A Flirty Birthday Message For Madison Beer

Madison, who recently celebrated her 25th birthday, treated her Instagram followers to a series of videos of herself being surprised with a birthday cake onstage during a concert. She captioned the post with a series of heart emojis and exclamation points.

While the “Selfish” singer received a lot of heartfelt birthday wishes on the post, one in particular stood out, and it was from her long-time friend Justin Bieber. “Hbd,” Justin wrote alongside a party hat emoji, heart-eye emoji, and melting-face emoji.

Madison and Justin’s friendship dates back to when he discovered her at the age of 13. In 2012, Justin praised her as a “future star,” leading to her signing with Island Def Jam Records and being managed by Scooter Braun. Despite their long-standing friendship, however, some critics interpreted Justin’s comment as flirty, speculating on how his wife Hailey, 27, may feel about it.

One Reddit thread called out Justin for the comment, which some argued was unnecessary. “Sure [the heart-eye emoji] can be used platonically, but it’s also very widely used for flirting, and quite obviously so,” one critic said.

“People say he posts the heart-eye emoji a lot, but to me the egregious one is the melting one,” another comment chimed in. “Even without the heart eyes the melting to a pretty lady’s picture is definitely flirtatious.”

Other people questioned how Justin’s wife may feel in response to his birthday message, with one person speculating, “Hailey is screaming crying throwing up rn.” Another said she’s probably “seething.”

Justin has been spotted without his wedding ring on multiple occasions recently, which hasn’t helped allegations he and Hailey are going through a tough time, and neither does his flirty message.

Hailey’s Dad Admitted The Couple Needs A Prayer

Hailey’s dad seemed to confirm something is going on between the couple earlier this month when he made a social media post asking his followers to pray for his daughter and son-in-law.

“Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them to have wisdom, protection, and to draw close to the Lord,” the actor said, adding a video of Justin signing Christian hymns.

Justin and Hailey first began dating in 2015 but later parted ways. In 2018, they reconciled and became engaged in July of the same year. The couple surprised fans by getting married in a courthouse ceremony in September 2018, before celebrating with a more formal wedding in South Carolina in September 2019.
