Eminem continues his success with the latest comeback single “Houdini” which now debuts at number 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US charts. It is his first ever number 1 on the list that started in 2020. It also debuts at number 1 on this week’s streaming songs chart. It is his third on the chart and first since 2018 “Lucky You” with Joyner Lucas.
However, the rapper missed out on the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. The single out-streamed and outsold everyone on the list, but missed out on the number 1 due to low radio play. The single was streamed 48.8 Million times and moved 49,000 units. This is Detroit rapper’s 23rd Top 10 hit, and highest charting song since 2014 Rihanna collab “The Monster”, which debuted at number 1. Previously, Eminem debuted at number 3 in 2020 with Juice WRLD collab “Godzilla”. Houdini also debuts at the top of the multimetric Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts, which his 2nd and 6th No. 1s, respectively.
On the other hand, Eminem recently earned his 11th number 1 hit song in the United Kington, which is the most by any rapper there. The Detroit rapper scored the biggest opening week of 2024 on the Official UK Singles chart as Houdini moved 104,800 chart units, including 13.3 Million streams.
“Houdini” is the first single from ‘Lose Yourself’ rapper’s upcoming new album “The Death of Slim Shady”, which is reportedly dropping in July.
