Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs made a comeback on social media after being embroiled in a series of intense dramas, including a federal probe, multiple legal battles, and a jab from hip-hop heavyweight Eminem.
After a hiatus from Instagram, he returned to share two snaps in honor of his daughter’s 18th birthday. “My babygirl turned 18 today. I’m so proud of you Chance. I love you,” he penned alongside the images.
Diddy tagged his daughter, Chance Combs, who then shared the photos on her own story with some loving heart emojis.
The first snap showed Chance posing against a picturesque beach scene at sunset, donning a yellow and pink striped crochet dress without straps, complemented by a delicate necklace. Her hair styled in flowing braids, Chance showcased an array of bracelets on her wrists.
The hip-hop mogul followed up with a nostalgic picture of him and his young daughter dozing off together.
Diddy’s return to the online world follows a diss track where Eminem took a swipe at him in his most recent tune. Eminem’s lyrics in the track Fuel go, “I’m like an R-A-P-E-R, got so many S-As / Wait, he didn’t just spell the word ‘rapper’ and leave out a P, did he?”.
The controversy surrounding Diddy’s legal woes, which include multiple accusations of sexual assault and domestic violence, has been a hot topic. His legal team has “vehemently” denied these allegations on his behalf.
The saga began when his former partner Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against him, only to reach an out-of-court settlement with the artist the following day.
